A Practical Way Of Making White, Chrome & Gold
Water Slide Decals at Home Using DecalPRO

Step 2: Setup

When you are ready to make decals, there first thing you want to do is to plug in and turn on the laminator.
It takes a full 30 minutes for it to heat up, so get that going first. We have a smooth-top electric range,
so I work with my laminator there.

15 minutes later, turn on the oven, and set it for 350 (degrees F  which is equal to about 175 deg C ).
15 minutes is how long our oven takes to warm up - your milage may vary....

Get the DecalPRO fiberglass carrier board from the  box, and put it by the laminator.
Lay out the foil (or white film) in a convenient spot - I use the kitchen table.

"Borrow" the best scissors in the house to cut the film with. Don't forget to put them back before you get caught.

Cut your Toner Transfer Paper to the size you want to use. I don't have a paper cutter, so I measure,
then draw light pencil lines on the backside the sheet, and use scissors to cut it with.
Immediately put it back in the resealable bag, to keep it soft.

OK, now go print your artwork....
