At The End Of The Day...
The DecalPRO system is quite
capable of making good quality white (and color foil)
water slide decals at home,
when using the techniques I've shown here.
If you compare the costs of the
DecalPRO system plus an HP LaserJet printer to an ALPS printer,
you are still money ahead. Unlike
ALPS (or inkjet decals), the DecalPRO decals are very dense,
and go over bright and dark
colors without any bleed thru.
The ALPS decals have all the
colors on one decal layer, where as with DecalPRO, you need to
have separate layers. That's
not a problem for me, but it might be a drawback for you.
So, at the end of the day, I'm
happy with the DecalPRO system, and would recommend it to anyone
who feels the need to make their
own white decals. Initially, I had some frustration, but I think if you
try to follow the steps I use,
you'll get up to speed quicker.
That's about it for now. If you've
got any questions, you can e-mail me at: greg@vsrnonline.com
